Would you do this for your significant other?

Death is a hard reality that we all must face at some point or another. It’s even more painful to watch death come earlier than it should for anyone we care about. What if someone you cared about, only had a few days to live and wanted you to do something that would fulfill a last wish, even if it meant breaking a few rules.

With his wife suffering from complications from an invasive surgery, and wanting to see her beloved pet one more time, this man did something that will make you smile.

Man Smuggles Dog Into Hospital For One Final Goodbye With His Wife

Last year, reddit user Mellifluous_Username lost his wife due to complications from an invasive surgery. Before she died, she made one request – to see their beloved Australian Shepherd named Bella one last time.

Pets are not allowed in hospitals, but the man was determined to fulfill his wife’s wish.

When he and the pup arrived at the hospital, he zipped up the suitcase and carried it into the hospital.

The man wrote:

“When we entered the room, my wife was asleep. I unzipped the suitcase, and Bella immediately jumped on the bed, and gingerly laid across her chest, somehow avoiding the wires and IV. She positioned herself to where she could look directly into my wife’s eyes, and laid completely still.”

This was Bella’s last moment with her mom, as the woman passed away a few days later. Bella’s dad says that the dog now gets excited whenever she sees any suitcase.
